The Search for Happiness

Why is it that in my struggle to find happiness, I learn that it can be found in contentment that comes with independence? Many seek for happiness in world’s most alluring places; in love, wealth and accomplishment. Let me tell you, the most simplest, most precious things in life are the most difficult to find. Not because they are fleeting, nor because of their intangible nature, but because the people try to find them in all the wrong places.

Happiness comes from within, and can’t be found elsewhere. The joy from material possessions, the butterflies from blossoming lovestories, the satisfaction of a job well done are all temporary. For happiness comes from within YOU.

“What is essential is invisible to the eye” is a truth we all have to experience ourselves, the sooner we learn this lesson, the sooner we find our happiness.
